Module 3: Communicate Your Brand
Your Visual Brand: On-Site
In today’s lesson, you’ll examine six different areas on your website—six opportunities to communicate your brand and make a meaningful connection with your target market.
Warning: Before You Start
For the best results, I recommend not binging all the videos in this lesson all at once. That’s a surefire ticket to feeling overwhelmed!
The goal of this lesson is to take inventory of your website as it currently stands: What are you already doing well? Where do you have room to improve?
Force yourself to stop and reflect on each individual visual brand element before you move forward. Download the worksheet below and use it to record your thoughts while the concepts covered in each video are fresh on your mind.
And then by the end of this lesson, your completed worksheet will give you a clear view of what you need to do to help your ideal reader feel like your blog is a place where she belongs.
Don’t try to change everything this week! Instead, choose one or two things to work on this week and schedule the rest on your calendar over the next few weeks.
