About Me

I love Jesus, my family, and world travel. My husband Bryan and I have been married 27 years and have six kids (four boys then 2 girls), aged 13 to 24. I am a teacher by training (secondary English and French), but retired 24 years ago when my first child was born. I've taught all the kids at home from the start. One has graduated university, two are in college, and a fourth starts in the fall, so I guess I didn't completely ruin them.

I always wanted to be a writer, so it's fun that God carved that path for me when I least expected it. I started freelance writing 16 years ago and then started my blogs in 2008/2009. I've survived in this crazy business and am hoping for about 20 more.
