I am a passionate Craft/DIY/Entertaining gal. I have "Champagne taste on a Gingerale budget" so I've had to get really, really good at learning how to create the looks I love with the resources I have which are usually paper, glitter, paint, and whatever treasures I unearth at Goodwill and flea markets!

I love Jesus, my daughter, and coffee. I live in my dream house - an old stone cottage in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. I adore Jane Austen - I've named my daughter, my home and my dog from some of Austen's novels - there's probably a Jane Austen 12-step group I should join somewhere!!

I was a Victoria magazine Artist in Residence in 2011 which was a total dream come true for me because I have read that magazine since its very first issue!! 

I've been blogging since 2008 but I've never figured out how to really make it a thriving business. I'm so grateful to be part of Jeni's course so that I can go to the next level and be the CEO of my brand!! woo-hoo!!
